My name is Einar Ingebrigtsen, I’m a software developer – these days with the primary focus on Microsoft .net related technologies. 1st of October 2008 I got awarded the MVP title on the products Xna and DirectX, and later in 2009 got converted to be a Silverlight MVP. Later became MVP for the Windows Platform Development product group. Today I am a Client Dev MVP.

I’m married to the most patient and forgiving woman who let’s me endulge myself in my passion; computers. Together we have two beautiful kids, a 9 year old girl and a 7 year old boy that I have great fun with. In many cases we are just three kids and one mom in our household.

I’ve been around the block a couple of times and started programming on the Commodore 64 back in the days. Jumping through all the obligatory hoops along the road to my final destination; a professional developer.

Since 1994 I’ve been doing development professionally for all sorts of things, ranging from games development for Playstation, Xbox to telecom and mobile development to broadcast TV graphics development to enterprise business applications.

I work as an independent consultant with my own company called Dolittle.

I really hope you enjoy the content of my blog and don’t hesitate to subscribe to my feed.

Best regards,

Einar Ingebrigtsen

I was linked here from a post you made 8 years ago (yes that long) on Josh Smith’s blog. This is the page:

You mentioned that you felt you had made improvements on his PropertyObserver class and provided a link to the source. Unfortunately that link now no longer works. I was wondering if you by chance still have the code and would be willing to share it. I am currently looking into this very topic and while I have something that works, I’m always looking for something better. I would be very interested to see what your improvements were.
